Hi, my name is Jamie and I am the director of Octavian.

The idea for Octavian came about, while eating fish and chips and walking down a local road. I thought, I think there would be people struggling to live with a dog during the COVID-19 pandemic. I thought about using owners bond with their dog to help them increase confidence in social activites.

After some refining, this is how Octavian Care was founded.

After running a support company for a couple of years, we launched Harmony Doggy Day care, the inspiration of which coming from Rhode Island, US and my collegue Luis Rosado.

Luis showed me what was possible in terms of the care and that could be provided. Luis and I are great friends and still talk daily.

Over the years I have travelled the US extensively and was fortunate enough to shadow with the famous Heather Beck. Heather taught me to lost skill of large group socialisation and I went on to complete her Heathers Heroes Certified Trainer course as well.

Our mission is to offer one of the best doggy day care experiences in the world.

Our journey is all about creating happy pets and satisfied owners through quality, compassion, and dedication.
